Clive’s Ford Focus RS Mk2 is quite literally gleaming. It’s in perfect condition and you can tell it’s nothing less than his pride and joy. With the amount of modifications that Clive’s added to it, I suppose you’d always want to ensure it was in pristine condition. After all, you’ve got to protect your investment!

This Ford Focus RS Mk2 has a 2521cc engine with five Cylinders – 20V. Our customer (the owner), Clive, kindly took the time to talk us through its list of multiple modifications. He’s also told us a little about him and why he’s such an avid fan of the Ford marque!

The man behind the wheel…

“The first car I ever drove was a Ford Escort Mk2 1100L, as you can tell, I’ve always liked Ford’s. I’ve always had a love for the marque from a young age. This stemmed from my dad – he used to rally the mk1 and mk2 ‘Escort Mexico’ back in the 1970’s.

Despite loving cars from a young age, when it came to modified cars, I didn’t actually own my first one until I was 24. Since then, I’ve done a lot of research into what companies I want to work on my car. Now, I only use Auto Specialists to work on my car – I’ve always been impressed with their standard of work.

In addition to work being performed on the car, it’s only fair to show off the car off afterwards – right? When I get the time, I do like to attend car events. To name a few, I like going to: Isle of Wight Takeover, Essex Ford Meet, Rates Ford open-day and Ford Fair.

What does the future hold for my car? Well, at the minute, I’ve got everything I want on the Mk2 Ford Focus RS. I suppose I will need an up-rated clutch at some point, though. Apart from this, I have no current plans to further modify the car – I’m truly happy with it how it is!
