Ford Fair 2017 is coming to Silverstone on Sunday 6th August. We’re super-duper excited to announce that we’ll be going this year. We won’t just be attending, we’ll actually be sponsoring the Fast Ford Magazine paddock. Within this paddock, you’ll see a wonderful array of cars on display that have been featured within the magazine. You’ll also get to see a wonderful variety of Fords that we insure, here at Safely Insured. That’s right, we’ve asked a few lucky customers to join us on the day, and exhibit their cars for all to admire.

Here’s some of our customer cars that will be joining us in the Fast Ford Magazine paddock on the day…

Jim’s Ford Mustang GT

Extract from Jim: “The reason I love this car so much is the striking colour which Ford has used since the 70’s. It’s also due to the 420BHP V8 engine, the manual 6-speed Getrag gearbox, and the fact that you don’t see many of these in the UK. I’ve never had a car get so much attention and I have had GTR skylines etc. before!”

Craig’s Ford Focus RS Mk2 ‘Tornado’

Extract from Craig: “The reason I love this car so much, is because even though it has a lot of power, and many modifications, it’s still very easy to drive on the road. Also, it always puts a smile on my face every time I drive it – a lot of people say it looks awesome.”

Chris’ Ford Escort Mk1

Extract from Chris: “My car is a true classic. Not only does it look visually striking but it’s still a joy to drive. I regularly get compliments on the lovely blue colour of the car also.”

Matthew’s Ford Focus RS

Extract from Matthew: “This particular Ford Focus RS model has already been claimed as ‘the best hot hatch of the moment’. Mine has been made even better with a variety of upgrades from Mountune. These upgrades include: the FPM375, Mud-flaps, Sports Lowering Springs, as well as other subtle visual and performance upgrades. The incredible ‘Nitrous Blue’ paintwork has also been enhanced with a full detail including ceramic coating by Staffordshire Car Care.”

 

Rachel’s Ford Focus ST500

Extract from Rachel: ” Here is my Ford Focus ST500. I’m new to the Ford scene with this car. I purchased it as I wanted something a little bit different, and here she is… She’s a fun to drive, limited edition, stealth BEAST. Cars like this aren’t just for boys :).”

Will’s Ford Fiesta Msport edition

Extract from Will: “Being an Msport edition, it’s very rare you’ll find another on the road – especially as only 21 of them were made. There were 20 Msport edition Fiestas that came in only ‘Frozen White’ and ‘Spirit Blue’. Only 1 Msport edition 531 Fiesta was made in black.

As these cars are based on the rally version, they come standard with a ‘Quaife diff’ which is a great feature for the car (and a must for any Fiesta ST180 owners).

The thing that I like most about the car is the way it looks and how unique the car is. My favourite modifications are the headlights and the bonnet mirrors.”

Ross’ Ford Focus ST Mk2

Extract from Ross: “This is my Mk2 Ford Focus ST. The car has undergone a lot of modification work, and I would like to thank the guys are EMP Performance for doing a lot of it. I’m also team #AirTec and am regularly getting little bits and bobs tweaked on the car (to make it look even better).”

Alex’s Ford Escort Convertible

Extract from Alex: “My car is called Rosie. Rosie is a 2.0litre, ZVH Turbo, and I use her on the road, as well as the track and the 1/4 mile strip. I literally built this car from the bottom up. The reason I love the car so much is because it’s completely different from the other Ford Escorts that I’ve owned in the past. The fact that it’s a Cabriolet means that it’s a great car to drive too – I love different cars.”

Sommer’s Ford Fiesta ST Mk6

Extract from Sommer: “My car is my pride and joy. It’s had many different looks, most know it as ‘the forever changing Fiesta’. It stands out from the crowd with the Dr Pepper livery and sits on the floor with a rear roll cage. It’s due to change again soon, so I’ll be revealing all the changes at Ford Fair.”

 

Nikki’s Ford Focus ST

Karl’s  Ford Focus ST2

Extract from Karl: “My partner and I own this 2011 Ford Focus ST2. It’s currently running at around 300bhp dreamscience. What makes this car so special is that it’s the last one off of the production line in this particular shape. It’s also the only 61 plate Mk2 ST that you will see on the road.”

Lawrence’s Ford Focus RS
