Our customer, Chris, owns this impeccably kept Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It’s not a standard Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution though – oh no! It’s a 2.0 litre power machine which currently runs at 514bhp with 494.8 ft lbs of torque. It’s been beautifully modified both in terms of power, and appearance. It’s a car that turns heads at car shows and is certainly one to be admired even at the local shops!

Chris’ Story…

“I’ve wanted a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 since I first ever saw one. Now, I can finally say that I own one. They certainly live up to expectations! (Yes, even the bad ones). After only owning it for a year, the head lifted and bent a rod. On the plus side, it gave me the push I needed to fully forge it and turn it into the beast she is now. It ignited the modification project and I’ve never looked back since. I’ve quite literally had a smile on my face since the very first test drive and still do now – whenever I get behind the wheel!

I try to take the car to as many shows and meets as I can but with work, it can be difficult. I’ll usually take the car to ‘Horsepower at the hall’ or ‘Squires Jap Meet’. I’m really hoping to try and get to more Japanese car and modified car shows in 2018. It always gets attention at events with its wide rear end (the next thing on my list will be to do the front to match)! Even me, myself – I can never park it up without looking back at it when walking away!”
