Safely Insured & Tradewise Insurance took to the football pitch on Wednesday night for a good natured friendly game, whilst also raising £350 for the Noah’s Ark Charity to help with their Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’ event at Capel Manor Gardens.

After a very tight first half, Safely Insured won the game 9-2, with a very strong second half performance. The game was played in a good spirit and both teams enjoyed a drink in the bar afterwards and talked over the finer points of the game.

Tradewise took an early lead after five minutes and the first half was a tough battle mainly fought out in midfield. Eventually Safely Insured equalised and started to put a bit more pressure on the Tradewise goal. By half time Sky were 3-1 up. The second half saw Sky start to dominate proceedings and they soon extended their lead.

Tradewise’s heads were down and Sky were not taking any mercy, drilled on by some strong commands from their Captain at the back, they steamed on to take total control of the game, with Tradewise only managing to score once more, albeit an excellent volleyed goal.

The game ended with plenty of friendly banter – and a few bragging rights won and all for a good cause.
