Our customer, Kurk, owns a 1993, 3.0 litre, Twin Turbo, automatic, Toyota supra. Not only does this Supra only have 30,000 miles on the clock, but it’s also not your typical ‘project car’. At present, all he’s modified on the car is the Alloys. In Kurk’s own words, he believes that: “The car is too original to tamper with”. In an ideal world, where money was no object, he would buy another Toyota Supra to modify until his heart was content. We guess that he would end up keeping both of the cars – we doubt he would want to part with his current pride and joy.

Kurk and his Toyota Supra

Kurk was kind enough to speak with us about his car, and all things car related!

Toyota Supra
“The first car I ever owned was a Suzuki Jimny. It was a 1.3 litre, 4×4. Things are a little different now I own a 333BHP Toyota Supra, however. I love my car, and I’m proud to say that it’s been featured in ‘Retro Japanese Magazine’ by Kelsey Media Productions. It’s also been featured on the Supra mk4.net forum.

When it comes to having any form of work done on my car, I always use a local garage – one I can trust. In fact, I’ve used the same one for the last 5 years.

Every year, I love taking my car to car shows. For example, I attend Japfest, Birmingham NEC, as well as the Scottish National Car Show. I also love to take my car to Santa Pod. My favourite tracks to spectate at in the UK include Silverstone and Donnington.

If money was no object, I would buy another Toyota Supra. I would want to add a lot more modifications to it. Although, I love the car I have now, so I would keep that one as well. Personally, I think the car I own now is too original to tamper with. This is another reason as to why I’d buy another Supra to modify instead. I also like the Toyota Soarer, so I might be tempted to get one of those too!”

Thanks, Kurk. Your insights into the world of the Supra will resonate with the hearts of many Supra fans. We appreciate your time in talking with us, and we wish you luck with any modifications for the future!
