Q&A with James

James also kindly answered some questions for us…

When did you first discover you had an interest in cars?

“Comparatively late compared to most. I was 29 years of age, and after experiencing my brother’s Nissan Skyline I knew I wanted something similar. After a bit of research, I fell in love with the Toyota Supra at a local garage.”

What was the first car you ever owned?

“A Hyundai Coupe. It had the looks but unfortunately not the power!”

What garages do you use to perform the work on your car?

“Garage Whiftbitz in South Wales.”

What advice would you give to someone who wants to modify their car for the first time?

“Make sure you’re starting with a good base, and do your research. It’s best to make sure the suspension and braking is up to spec before increasing power. Also, start small and keep your insurance company up to date with any modification work!”

If money was no option what car would you buy?

“I’d love an Audi R8, that is unless Toyota decide to release another Supra!”

Do you have any plans to further modify your car?

“If the stock twin turbos ever decide to let go, I will replace them with a single turbo conversion. Most of the other modifications I’d choose are actually already on the car.”
