As far as high performance cars go, Lexus hasn’t made the headlines since 2010 with the LFA Supercar. They have however encouraged determination across the board to step up its game and start competing with the best of them. The all-new 2017 Lexus LC 500h model is sure to mesmerise you.

Let’s discuss some of the finer details, and get to the specifics…

The 2017 Lexus LC 500h

Style – the car is sure to dazzle you and wow you with its charm. It’s not what you’d call ‘traditional’ charm however. What it is, is something new – something spectacular. It’s got sharp edges and dividing lines. It has ‘3D-effect’ rear lights and many more features to be desired. Despite the obvious style appeal, it doesn’t sacrifice on comfort. Whatever the mode you’re in, whether it be: Sport, Sport+, Normal, Comfort, or Eco, you can be sure of a comfortable ride. The car is part of their ‘Luxury’ range, which will see more cars added to it in the coming months / years.

Power – the V6 version has a 3.5 litre engine and is a petrol-electric hybrid. It has 6 cylinders and is also rear-wheel drive. It also comes with a rather powerful ‘standard power’ of 345bhp – not something to turn your nose up at. For the fans of the V8 – do not panic! There’s also a V8 version that will be available. It will have a 5.0 litre, petrol engine. This will be called the LC 500.

Speed – high performance cars can often guarantee you great thrills, as well as the luxurious and powerful design. The Lexus LC 500h is no different, it certainly does offer you that excitement. You can expect to go from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds. You can also reach an incredible 155mph at top speed. Yes, you might want to take this one around a race track!

Pricing – you can expect to pay from £76,595 for the car that’s bringing us into a new era. Want to know when you can claim yours? Deliveries will start in August 2017 (in the UK).

High Performance Cars Insurance

For a car that’s got a lot of power behind it, in addition to a lot of design, and a lot of style, you’re more than likely going to be paying more money for it. As such, you will want to look into the ideal insurance policy to protect your new pride and joy. For cars such as the Lexus LC 500h, it would be worth looking into the idea of taking out a ‘High Performance Car Insurance Policy’ as opposed to a standard car insurance policy. This way, you can ensure that every aspect of the car is covered, and insured to the correct value.
