We must emphasise however, it’s not just good to look at – it’s got the power to match too. It’s a 1.6 litre, that sounds pretty standard, right? Wrong! It’s currently packing an incredible 434BHP. Q&A with Mark…

When did you first discover you had an interest in cars?

I’ve always had an interest in cars, ever since I was a teenager. It wasn’t until I bought the VXR at 21 though, that my interest in cars became a huge part of who I now am – I love it!

What was the first car you ever owned?

It was a Peugeot 206 Quiksilver, 1.4 litre.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to modify their car for the first time?

Take your time (Rome wasn’t built in a day) this has taken me 3 years to get to the stage you see it at today, and it’s still not finished as there’s more I want to do to it.

What garages do you use to perform the work on your car?

AK Motorworkx – in my opinion, they’re the best Vauxhall tuner in the south-west.

Will you modify the car further?

Yes – my next step is to apply a gripper ‘limited slip differential’. The standard Nurburgring differential isn’t the best for the sort of power the car has now! I also want to get some ‘Ksports 8 pot brakes’ and discs this year. Oh, and a Carbon fibre rear diffuser.

Are you attending any car shows in 2017?

Yes – PVS Rockingham.

What would be your ultimate car?

1967 Mustang – it’s been my all-time favourite car for a while now. It’s got to be one of the best-looking cars out there!
