With each new year comes a new year of technological advancements within the motor industry.

2019 is of course, no different. With a wide variety of vehicles set to grace the market this year, we’ve listed a few of the ones we’re super excited to see released.

Cars to be released in 2019

BMW 1 Series – this car is getting a fresh feel for 2019. It’s going to be front-wheel drive and will be available with either a 1.5 litre or 2.0 litre engine. These engines will be available in both diesel and petrol, with the most powerful engine giving out 240bhp. There will also be hybrid and fully electric options, as well as the conventional engines. Release date? September 2019.

Mercedes-Benz GLA – the new Mercedes-Benz GLA is set to have the latest technology, including Siri-style voice control. It will be available with a petrol / diesel engine and have up to 221bhp. Release date? Late 2019. The AMG version is set to be released around a year after the launch of the GLA.

Mercedes-AMG A35 – the A35 AMG is an all-round fun car. It looks great too. With more than 300bhp, and a 0-62mph time of just 4.7 seconds, it’s set to capture the hearts of many who long to purchase it. It will be available in a 2.0 litre turbo, petrol engine. It will also have a seven-speed paddle shift gearbox. Release date? Spring 2019 (not long now).

Toyota GR Supra – the Toyota GR Supra has been at the forefront of conversation within the motoring world for a while now. The Supra went out of production years ago, and it was uncertain as to whether it would ever be revived – but it has, and we’re glad! The new Toyota GR Supra is set to be a rear-wheel drive, two-seater, sports car. It will have a 3.0 litre, 6-cylinder engine, which can give out a whopping 335bhp. It will also have an 8-speed automatic gearbox and the latest BMW iDrive derived infotainment system. Release date? September 2019.

Audi SQ2 – the SQ2 is set to have a much sportier dynamic, with robust features and high-performance capabilities. It will have a spoiler and sporty seats. It’s said to be able to get from 0-62mph in just 4.8 seconds. So, when can we expect the release date? Summer of 2019.

Lamborghini Huracan Evo – last but certainly not least on our list – the almighty Lamborghini Huracan Evo. The Lamborghini marque simply speaks for itself. Why? Because it combines the latest in design, with cutting-edge technology. This, accompanied by ground breaking performance under the bonnet, is a recipe for a motoring masterpiece.

The all-new Lamborghini Huracan Evo is set to have a 5.2 litre, V10 engine. It’s said to give out a variant between 602-631bhp and has been re-designed so that the body is far more aerodynamic. There are also far more personalisation opportunities for the lucky buyers! When is it set to be released? Oh, just NEXT MONTH – March 2019, and we can’t wait!
