Throughout 2016, we saw a fantastic array of customer cars. We’ve seen many marques and models of cars from the Toyota GT86, to an Audi RS3 Quattro, to a US imported Challenger.

At the end of last year, we thought it would be a nice idea to collate some of the cars we’ve put on cover and allow the public to vote for their favourite. Thus, we set-up our ‘Customer Car of the Year 2016’ competition.

The cars featured are insured via either our Modified Car Insurance scheme, or our Performance Car Insurance scheme.

Customer Car of the Year 2016

The winner of the competition was Jamie, and his highly modified Nissan 200sx.

Ever since he can remember, Jamie’s passion for cars has been present. In his own words, “I have always been involved with cars, even from a very young age. My Dad has always been crazy about cars and has owned some fine examples. Even when money was tight, he would always make sure he was running us around in a nice car! I spent most of my time being driven around in Jaguar XJS’s and BMW E28’s as a kid.”

Jamie’s Nissan 200sx has gone through the ultimate transformation, modifications include: 800bhp Stainless elbow, Apex adjustable camber arms, R33 GTR BMC (BM57), Chargespeed +25mm front wings, and some JDM Recaro recliners. The colour has also undergone a paint job in UK Touring Spec in Emerald Green.
